Sugaring is a natural form of removing body hair that has been practiced for centuries in the Middle East. It is by far the most gentle and ancient technique of hair removal. The sugar is made in my own lil’ kitchen from a simple trio of Raw ingredients: sugar, lemon juice, and water.
The paste is applied with a gloved hand against the direction of the hair growth and removed with the hair, limiting irritation and ingrown hairs. It’s not only much more gentle than waxing as it will never adhere to, burn, or strip off layers of the skin; but it also washes away with water, minimizing waste, and never leaving you feeling sticky or sore.
The rawness of the sugaring experience with us actually derived from our beloved clients and the array of wisdom and versatility that they have brought to our lives in the past 6+ years that we have both been practicing sugaring.
